Sustainable Lighting And The Move Toward Carbon Neutral SPECIAL PRESENTATION BY MITCH BRONSON, REGIONAL SALES MANAGER ARCHITECTURAL AREA LIGHTING There are many factors that can make outdoor site lighting confusing, especially when trying to determine the most energy efficient products to use. Some of the issues specifiers must consider include state and local codes, lighting quality, lighting efficacy and environmental issues. This program discusses how to choose efficient, effective and environmentally friendly lighting fixtures that meet design and functional goals while helping to reduce carbon emissions. In addition, this presentation will discuss the importance of organizations behind the products going carbon neutral. We will explore this topic by looking at Architectural Area Lighting''s personal journey into carbon neutrality and discover the motivation for moving in this direction and the difficulties and success the experience has brought the company. FULL DINNER BUFFET WILL BE SERVED This presentation does qualify for 1 LU Hour of credit for AIA/CES and ASLA/CPE.
