| Description | Learn How to Green Your Fleet and Reduce Your Carbon Footprint August 19th 2009 1PM – 4PM Clean Fleets Toolkit Workshop California State University, East Bay Oakland Professional Development and Conference Center In the Transpacific Centre 1000 Broadway, Suite 109, Room #4 Oakland, CA 94607 Directions/Transit/Parking: http://www.ce.csueastbay.edu/businessservices/conference_facilities/location.shtml Project Summary: In 2009, Sustainable Earth Initiative (SEI) and SF Environment (City and County of San Francisco) developed a clean fleets toolkit for commercial fleets with best management practices (BMP’s) to help companies learn how to reduce their carbon footprint, save money and green their fleets. The toolkit also contains many practical worksheets, like the fleet carbon calculator worksheet, that fleet managers can use to determine their baseline carbon footprint. While commercial fleets were the initial target focus, public fleet managers can also benefit from it. The Bay Area Air Quality Management District funded this project.
